Google Antigravity
Agent-first IDE from the $2.4B Windsurf acquisition. Manager View dispatches up to 5 parallel agents with built-in Chromium browser for testing.
The Manager View with 5 parallel agents and built-in browser is genuinely unique. But aggressive rate limiting and reliability concerns keep it from the top tier.
Google Antigravity is born from a $2.4B licensing deal that brought Windsurf's team inside Google DeepMind. It ships Gemini 3 Pro and Claude Opus 4.6 built in, no API key required. The Manager View lets you spawn up to five parallel agents in isolated workspaces, orchestrated from a mission-control dashboard. A built-in Chromium browser means agents can test the web apps they build in real time. At 76.2% on SWE-bench Verified, it trails only Claude Code.
The March 2026 pricing restructuring soured the community. Free-tier requests were cut 92% (250 to 20/day), the new credit system is opaque, and the jump from Pro ($20/mo) to Ultra ($249.99/mo) is a 12.5x increase with no middle ground.
For experimentation and prototyping, Antigravity is extraordinary. For production reliance, rate-limit unpredictability and zero compliance certifications make it a risk.
